So a lot of you have already heard this story from a few weeks ago but I wanted to post it for those who have not because it again is the proof of the Father's love for us!

A few weeks ago, the night before I was to head into my second chemo session, I was awoken at 2am to the sound of banging on the front door.  So I shook Aaron awake and he went to the door where two cops were outside waiting.  They said that someone had placed a 911 call from this residence.  We told them that we don't have a landline, just cell phones.  But they said that the call came from here and it could have been one of the cell phones, but both were accounted for in our room and we sure hadn't used them since we were peacefully sleeping.  So they apologized and left.  Aaron and I had been out of the room for maybe 5 minutes and when we walked in we smelt this horrible smell like something was burning.  Then we noticed that the ac unit had shut off while we were out of the room.  Aaron bent down and unplugged it and this is a picture of what we found.  In the space of five minutes the connecter had melted and was continuing to do so.  If the cops had not come to our front door at that moment who knows what might have happened.  Coincidence???  NO WAY!  God loves us and wants to show us that love, even in miraculous ways.  Aaron likes to say that God called the cops on us when he shares the story!  Here is just another way that God has shown me just how much he cares and loves me.  Thanks you Jesus!!

As I was thinking about the title for this blog I was reading through Psalm 91 which is a chapter that my sister gave me back when the lump was just a lump, and the beginning of vs 14 starts, "Because he loves me."  Ok so this verse isn't talking about God but rather me, but the statement really does go both ways and man has He been showing me His love.  Who would have thought that I would have cancer, me?  But God is showing me that even with cancer, even in this season that not one person in their right mind would wish for, He does love me and He does want to shelter me from it and yes He even wants to see me healed of it.  I am deserving of His love, and I am special and singled out by Him. Ba bye chemo!

Woooohooo!!  Chemotherapy is done!  Two weeks ago I finally finished off the 6th and final round of chemo.  I was very tentative about even doing it knowing how it made me feel and not sure if I was able to stand it mentally.  But I did it, I finished, and boy does it feel great!  Such a relief.  Thank you all for praying.  My last two rounds were without allergic reaction and went smoothly.  I have been told that chemo is the toughest part of this whole process, we shall see if that is the truth. Wow how the time flies.  It has been six months since I found out I had a cancer and it has been four months of chemo.  I still can't believe half a year has gone by already.  So now that the chemo is done I get a bit of a breather this month and then I have my first surgery scheduled for the 30th of November.  I will be going in for a single masectomy and a lymph node dissection and it will be done here in Hawaii.  I also already have my reconstruction surgery scheduled and that will t

I just wanted to post just a little note on how things are going right now and how you can be praying for us.  Today I went in for my 3rd chemo session.  I am half way done with the chemo part, woo hoo!  I will be going in for an ultra sound next Tuesday to see if the lump has shrunk at all.  So please be praying that it will be a positive outcome, would love to go in and have them find no lump! As chemo is getting closer to being done, don't get me wrong I still have another two months to go, but now is the time for us to look into surgeons for my surgeries.   As I have researched the different options for plastic surgery to reconstruct I have come across one that produces the best results with the least amount of side effects.  It is called the diep flap surgery and it tends to be the most complicated one to do, so therefore not many doctors do it.  And with being on a small island my options are very limited and they don't offer that surgery here.  So this means that if I
